Message from the Artist
March 15,2007
This webpage will soon be undergoing a huge overhaul, so some information may be dated. If you have any questions about the artwork and availability, please email me.
In the meantime, my Deviant Art site, linzarcher.deviantart.com, gets updated with new art regularly.
RECENT CHANGES
Public appearances will be severely limited from here on out. Previous commitments will be kept, such as the Georgia Renfaire, but otherwise there will be no new engagements.
Prints will still be available through my website and at limited engagements. They will also be available through other sources who have purchased wholesale or have previous arrangements to sell my art, such as Aradani Studios.
Probably the most significant change is that I will no longer be accepting commission work. Again I have a few personal commissions that I intend to complete but will no longer be painting for anyone other than Sovereign Press, Margaret Weis Publishing, or White Silver Publishing. I have so enjoyed working with the people at these companies that they are probably the only reason I don't just give up art completely. If you would like a commission I can reccomend some other talented artists that would be happy to oblige, however if you want a Linz Original you will simply have to choose from those already completed and in need of good homes.
Please forgive me, but I probably will not be as interactive with comments and emails as I tend to due better the less time I take at the computer. I apologize for the unavailability, and any inconvenience. Thank you to all of you who have offered friendship and support throughout the years.

Being part of the projects that have been coming in lately has been extremely exciting. The novel by Alana Abbot, Into the Reach and the The Chronicles of Ramlar published by White Silver Publishing have been marvelously exciting. I had the honor of having a sneak peek at the novel and it is wonderful. Alana is very talented and I am very honored to have my artwork wrapped around such a wonderful story.
Ramlar is coming together as well, and sounds like a wonderful new RPG. Recently John Prescott did an interview via Podcast for Ramlar. If you would like to listen and learn more about this exciting new venture, please click here to hear the Podcast.
If you would like to learn more about the upcoming novels and RPG, or a little more about the company White Silver publishing, which also handles Sovereign Stone, you can visit their website.
The Serenity Role Playing Game recently won the Gamer's Choice Award at Origins!
The other day my copy of the DragonLance Campaign Setting: Legnds of the Twins, came in. The Thane's Broken Dream is on page 66, Kharas Resplendant is on page 72, and Tasslehoff in the Abyss on page 78. Prints will be available for them. To keep up to date on the latest releases for Margaret Weis Productions, check out www.margaretweis.com and to keep track of all the new books being released, please watch the new illustration section.
Love Music?
I love knowing that my work has a positive influence or inspires others, but it always surprises me. One such surprise came from a very talented person who has composed a movement about one of my paintings, Autumn Breeze. It is a part of an entire suite, called "Tales From The Elfwood", composed by John E. Rinehart. Elfwood is a free online showcase for fantasy artists and writers of all caliburs. He has taken inspiration from images in this web gallery and transformed them into music. To learn more, please go to the website
