Rendezvous
An elven maiden waits in the woods for her lover to join her for a secret rendezvous. This painting was inspired by Waterhouse and Leighton. I am most proud of the gestured flowers in the background, and the shadows on her face.
Originally painted in oils on gesso board in 2003 of model Christi.
