Nightwatch
An elven maiden and her dragon sit atop a summit keeping watch at night, to protect their village from anyone who might wish to take them by surprise. They keep watch with alert eyes in the comfort of each other’s protection. It is a quiet night, like most other nights. Other guards also keep their watch atop other spires with their dragons ready to light up the sky in warning, should they spot invaders approaching.
The original ink drawing underneath the digitally added burnt paper, was drawn in 2003.
