Sisters of the Sun
Sunlight glistens on the lush foliage of summer, leaving sparkling glints of light on the forest floor. A gap in the trees allows for sun bathing and these two quickly take advantage. Basking in the sun together, these similar spirits experience what it means to be kindred at heart. This elf maiden with the heart of a lion, lets the light warm her face while enjoying the peaceful company of her soul sister, blinking in the sunlight.
Originally drawn in in 2004 with ink and painted in watercolor on watercolor board, the original painting measures 11x14 inches.
