Muscadine Grove
A young maiden wanders among the leaves of an ancient muscadine grove, where these tasty wild grapes have been replenished year after year for centuries. Hoping to find a few fresh muscadines to take home with her, the maiden discovers that she is being watched by other beings that make this grove their home. But she is no stranger to the mystical and they allow her to continue in her search.
The original painting was started in 2004 while in California for the Lord of the Rings Oscar Party, but lay unfinished until 2006.
