Gates of Atlantis
A mermaid pauses at the gates of her home city, Atlantis. Looking back at the city beneath the waves before venturing out into the depths of the ocean, she goes forth to adventure.
Painted in 2004 with watercolors on watercolor paper. White gesso was used for highlights and scales.
