Although buying prints through this site is not presently available, prints and products are available at http://linzarcher.deviantart.com/prints/
My personally produced prints will still be available at various appearances across the country, and will hopefully be available through this site in the near future.
The available sizes of my personally produced prints are 13x19, 11x14, 8.5x11, and 5x7 inches. However the smaller print sizes are being phased out.
Each print is printed on high quality 51 lb Matte paper with archival inks to help ensure the life of the print. In addition, prints come sealed in a clear plastic bag with a backing board for support.

At this time, I do not accept commissions from noncorporate entities. My creative time is very limited and what time I do have is reserved for my publishers and personal works of art that are more lucrative and dependable means of income. Because I am exceedingly slow in completing commissions with deadlines taking priority, and because the artwork produced for commissions is rarely marketable, ultimately personal commissions are neither fair to the customer nor fair to me as the artist. However I do know other artists who are very talented and enjoy taking commissions.

Under certain conditions, licensing personal works is negotiable. Illustration work is a shared copyright with the publishers, therefore licensing of those images should be an inquiry with the creators of the illustrated content. Conditions for personal licensing are entered into only by their prospective benefit. This means no exclusive contracts or any contract that restricts artist ownership of the original artwork or print production. An exception for exclusivity might be made for a single image created expressly for that purpose or if it is for a product that I do not produce personally. If the image is created for that express purpose, there must be compensation for the time and production of the original, although not neccessarily the purchase of the original art, as well as the purchase of the rights to license exclusively. If wishing to license exclusive rights to a particular form of product there must be an initial license purchase as well as a percentage of sales. For open non-exclusive licenses that in no way inhibit artist rights to the artwork or the selling of artist produced products, a percentage of sales is a viable option unless there is labor involved, which will require compensation for that labor.

Illustration work is available to established publishers and authors. For all illustrations produced, the price is for first publishing rights, not the original artwork itself. Copyrights must be at least shared. As the artist, I maintain the right to sell the original works of art at my own discretion, as well as to make prints of those works of art after the release of the product for which the illustration was created. There must be payment upon completion of the artwork. No work will be rendered for a percentage of profits/sales that may never be, as labor must be compensated.
Presently I am taking a sabatical from illustration work. Should that change, the rates are as listed.
- $100 - Interior Character Black and White
- $150 - Interior Character Black and White with background
- $200 - Interior Character Color
- $300 - Interior Character Color with background
- $1500 - $2500 Cover Artwork (varies by complexity)

PERMISSIONS AND TERMS OF NON-PROFIT USAGE
For those of you seeking permission to use my art for various personal endeavors, I presently allow people to use my images under these conditions ...
- It must be for PERSONAL DIGITAL use ONLY! That means no printing, no publishing, and no profit. You may use it for your Live Journal Icons, Chat icons, avatars, tubes, email stationery, school projects, posting on blogs, youtube, personal websites, and other non-profitable projects that fall under "fair use". If money is being collected because of my art in ANY way, then you must compensate me for the use of my image.
- Illustration work is off limits. Illustrations are shared copyrights, therefore I do not have full authority concerning these images to grant permission.
- Copyright Information must be included. "Lindsay Archer" "© Lindsay Archer" or "Linz Archer" must be included visibly in the image somewhere, even if it is in a minor location.
- Link to my website. Basically I consider these forms of personal usage free advertising, which is why I don't mind allowing others these freedoms with my work. So in return place a link to www.lindsayarcher.com either in the image or in text associated with the image.
- Limited alterations. Please do not do anything to lessen the quality of the work, or do anything that might be considered vulgar or profane. You are permitted to make changes to the background, animate (such as adding sparklies, eye blinking, tail swishing, nods of the head, breathing, etc.), and other changes that maintain the message or integrity of the central characters in the original artwork.

- For information regarding copyrights, visit http://art-support.com/copyright.htm
- It is illegal to scan a print, or to use that scan for placing on non-digital objects or products.
- It is illegal to post other people's art on sites that sell prints such as photobucket or deviant art.
- It is illegal to create galleries posing as the creator of the artwork or posing as the actual artist.
- It is illegal to attempt to artistically or digitally reproduce the imagery of another artist's work for the purpose of selling prints. Any image based off another artist's artwork is considered a derivative work of art. Works may be created for educational purposes, their originals may be sold, but to sell prints of that derivative work of art is a violation of the original artist's rights. It is also illegal to claim first rights to that image. Although image content is protected, the concept of a work of art is not, so long as the new image does not resemble the inspiring artist's work.
