This painting features the main love interests from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings movies, Aragorn and Arwen, played by Viggo Mortensen and Liv Tyler. The original painting is painted on illustration board with watercolors and white gesso.

This celebrity portrait is not for sale as prints, but drawn purely out of my appreciation and enjoyment of the work performed by these people, and the beauty of the Lord of the Rings movies.

Although legally I am not allowed to sell prints or any other reproductions of artwork created from celebrities unless permitted to do so, (especially in association with the media they participated in) I am within my rights to sell the original works of art. The original artwork for this portrait is 18 x 24 inches, painted in watercolor on illustration board. It is matted and framed. Framed, the piece is much larger and measures 31 x 41 inches (shown below). The matt is an embosed leaf pattern on a suede textured matt. The glass is Reflection Control and Conservation to extend the life of the painting. The frame is one of the higher end frames that our frame shop once carried. The framing alone was valued around $300.
